If you already know how to knit and purl but want to be able to move beyond squares or rectangles, come learn how to shape your knitting using increases, decreases and yarn overs. We will explore several different ways to add and reduce the number of stitches on your needles to create angles and curves in your knitted pieces for waists, armholes, necklines, shawl shaping and more. You will learn how to read pattern instructions and abbreviations for shaping along with how to knit the most common types of increases and decreases. This class even includes a free pattern you can make after you’ve learned these new skills.
