Learn to Use Your Sewing Machine (online class)

You can learn how to use your sewing machine online! This interactive virtual class will teach you
everything about your sewing machine, tools and accessories, needles, and how to stitch, all in a single session. If you have a brand new sewing machine in the box or it has been a minute since you last used one, this class is for you.

You will learn about all the parts of your sewing machine, along with how to set up and thread your
machine, wind a bobbin, and sew using a regular straight stitch. We will practice consistent seam allowances and explore different stitch types as time allows. Whether your machine is still in the box or has been hiding under piles of laundry for years (we don’t judge!), you will be stitching in no time!

WHO CAN ATTEND: Ages 18 and up

SKILL LEVEL: ALL skills levels

INSTRUCTOR WILL PROVIDE:
– Live demonstrations and examples
– Safe, friendly environment for questions and troubleshooting

FOR THE BEST CLASS EXPERIENCE:
– You will receive the online class link via email the day before the scheduled time. Log on 5-10 minutes before the class start time to check your connection, audio and video.
– Log on from somewhere quiet with no background noise.
– Have something to take notes with.
– Bring your enthusiasm–this is fun creative time!
