Get Sewing: How to Use Your Sewing Machine

Come learn how to use your sewing machine so you can make things! This hands-on class will teach you
everything about your sewing machine, tools and accessories, needles, and how to stitch, all in a single session. Perfect if you have never used a sewing machine or if it has been a minute since you last used one. You will learn about all the parts of your sewing machine, along with how to set up and thread your machine, wind a bobbin, and sew precise seam allowances using a regular straight stitch. We will practice pivoting (turning corners) and explore different stitch types as time allows. Whether your machine has not made it out of the box yet or it has been hiding for years, we will get you stitching in no time!
