Les Petites Choses Drawstring Bag

It’s gifting season!  Come make an adorable drawstring bag for yourself or someone else.  This cute little bag has a flat base and textured bottom portion so it can stand up on its own.  The skills for this tiny piece pack a real punch for all stitchers, including ambitious beginners to the most seasoned stitchers.  Techniques include top-down knitting in the round, eyelets, two stitch i-cord, and reading pattern instructions, so this is a great project for learning something new, doing something potato-chippy, or even adding your own design features.  The free pattern will be provided and it includes two other sizes, so bring your needles and your holiday spirit for some addictive gift-knitting!

SUPPLIES YOU SHOULD BRING:

• 200-ish yards of smooth plied worsted weight yarn (nothing single ply or fuzzy; solid colors will show the stitch pattern better)
• US size 6 (4mm) DPNs OR US size 6 (4mm) 32″ or longer circular needles (for magic loop method)
• Stitch markers
• Scissors or snips
